9 New Promising Fall Shows

Due to last seasons incredibly crappy lineup of new shows on almost all of the networks, they have all stepped up in their writing...somewhat. Here's my list of the top 9 new series coming to the 5 Major Networks.

9. Terra Nova(FOX) - This show has been getting a lot of buzz lately, and it actually seems a lot like avatar actually. It  definitely has potential and I think the series premiere will score major numbers. Probably upward of 14 million views, but Terra Nova doesn't seem like it can be a long running show.

8. Person of Interest(CBS) - This new show with JJ Abrams directing it, it seems like it has potential and possibly a long running show(4+ seasons). I'll give it a try and it'll be nice to see "Ben"(Lost), again.

7. Up All Night(NBC) - While watching the Promo NBC released on YouTube a few months ago I remember laughing a ton. It seem's promising and with Christina Applegate and Will Arnett it'll go far.

6. The Playboy Club(NBC) - After the little bit of talk that died down after the Salt Lake City NBC affiliate dropped The Playboy Club(http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/06/the-playboy-club-dropped-by-salt-lake-city-nbc-affiliate.html) the show hasn't had any other real attention. It seems like it could do well of the acting paid off.

5. Ringer(CW) - We've been waiting for The CW to finally release a good show. Even though they're other new shows coming(The Secret Circle,Hart of Dixie, H8ER, The Frame, Remodeled) don't look great Ringer does. Kudos to The CW for swooping in on the show to pick it up after CBS passed it.

4. The River(ABC) - Wow, one ABC show made it to the top 9. Shocker. At least it made it to number 4. As the river being one of the million mid-season replacements ABC ordered, it could be the new "Lost" some say. From the writers of paranormal activity, I know were all looking forward to this.

3. Awake(NBC) - This incredibly moving story is coming NBC as a mid-season replacement. Were taken into a fathers/cops twisted life as he is in a car crash and loses his son. Only to find when he wakes up after going to bed, his son is alive and his wife is dead. Later that night he goes to bed, wakes up in the morning and finds his wife to be alive and his son to be dead. He must find grounds on actual reality, meanwhile his cases he's on begin to cross over into each life, making his job more confusing.

2. Smash(NBC) - Kathrine McPhee, Singing, Broadway...GREAT! No, but really Smash seems great with good acting and a very well written script and great plot line. But the only problem with this show is this seems more like a movie than a long running tv series.

1. The X-Factor(FOX) - With everyone seeking a replacement for  American Idol after it went down hill FAST, the X-Factor  with similar "Idol" Judges, (Paula, Simon and the 2 best judges on Idol by far) seems like it could be America's new show. But you never can tell with these types, but from my guess, it will win it's timeslot on it premiere, and most after.

*Honorable mentions: New Girl(FOX), I Hate My Teenage Daughter(FOX)
