"The L.A. Complex" Gets Lowest Rated Premiere in History

The hard partying, dirty, and Los Angeles related Canadian imported show on the CW "The L.A. Complex" received the lowest rated drama debut on broadcast TV - ever. Click read more below to find out what really happened:

The CW took a shot in the dark with the well received teen-drama "The L.A. Complex". Positive reviews and okay promotions usually means steady premiere ratings. But the fun and CW-Style type of show broke records for the lowest rated scripted debut, since the ratings system had been in use. It premiered to 630,000 viewers in it's premiere and a 0.3 in the prized 18-49 adult demographic. A 0.3 is extremely low. It's lead in, a long hiatus return 90210 scored a 0.6 in the 18-49 demographic and 1,200,000 viewers. The CW's average is currently around a 0.8, trailing very far behind ABC's 2.4, NBC's 2.5, CBS's 3.0, and FOX's 3.2. The L.A. Complex is already renewed for another season in it's home country, Canada. The CW is playing an encore of the episode, tonight at 8pm. It doesn't seem likely that the LA Complex will stick around much longer, although it has garnered positive feedback.
